1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of seagamesmalaysia2027.org (primary), cms.seagamesmalaysia2027.org, mirror hosts paraaseanmalaysia2027.org and seagames2027.my, and related digital services (together the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site is the production digital platform for the 34th SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games (Malaysia 2027), including public information, live results, schedule, ticketing and partner integrations. Separate systems (accreditation, anti-doping, venue security) may apply their own terms where you are redirected.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of your place of residence. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

Where account registration, ticket purchase or CMS staff access is offered, you must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us of unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create security risk.

3. Content accuracy & live data

Sports programmes, schedules, medal tables, athlete information, maps and media may be updated as competition systems sync. Live feeds and standings reflect the best available data at the time of display and may be corrected after review.

References to OCM, MASOC, NSC, NSI, SEAGF, host states and sponsors describe organisational context for the Games.

Do not use screenshots or exports from the Site to misrepresent ticket availability, seating, results or awards.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:

• Violating any applicable Malaysian or international law.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or non-public data.
• Scraping, bulk downloading or harvesting content or personal data in a way that overloads infrastructure or circumvents technical controls.
• Introducing malware, spam, or automated abuse (except bona fide public search indexing within polite crawl rates).
• Impersonating the organising committee, athletes, officials or other users.
• Uploading unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or infringing content via forms or chat.
• Interfering with other users’ enjoyment of the Site or with live event operations.
• Using the Site to facilitate ticket scalping fraud or sale of counterfeit credentials.
• Reverse engineering non-public aspects of the Site except to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

6. Tickets, products & payments disclaimer

Ticket tiers, prices, free Community Access registration and purchase flows on seagamesmalaysia2027.org/tickets form part of the production ticketing service. Completing checkout creates a binding order subject to these Terms and any session-specific conditions shown at purchase.

Refunds, resale, entry conditions, prohibited items and force majeure rules may also be set by the authorised seller for partner-redirect sales and will be presented at that partner’s checkout.

Only tickets and QR codes issued by this Site or authorised partners are valid. We are not responsible for third-party resellers, social-media scams or unofficial QR codes.

7. User submissions

If you submit content (messages, files, survey answers), you represent that you have the rights to do so and that the content does not violate law or third-party rights. You grant us a licence to host, process and use that content to operate the service and respond to you.

We may remove or refuse content that appears unlawful or abusive, and may report serious threats to authorities.

8. Third-party services & links

The Site may link to external websites, social platforms, maps, video hosts or partner tools. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, security or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, force majeure, network issues or cyber incidents may cause downtime or data loss.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may update schedules, sports lists and copy as information evolves toward 2027.

10. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY MALAYSIAN LAW, THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that content is accurate, complete, current or suitable for any competition, travel, medical or investment decision. Always verify critical information through official channels before acting.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) MYR 100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR SITE ACCESS IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited).

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Site operator and its personnel from and against claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your user content, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, create risk, or if required by law. You may stop using the Site at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) will survive termination.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence that cannot be waived.

Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt good-faith resolution by contacting support@seagamesmalaysia2027.org with a description of the dispute.

15. General

• Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Site, superseding prior understandings on that subject.
• Severability: If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
• No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign to an affiliate or successor operator.
• Language: English controls if translations conflict, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
• Notices: We may notify you via the Site or email you provide. Legal notices to us: legal@seagamesmalaysia2027.org.

These Terms cover use of the Site and do not replace separate written contracts for sponsorship, broadcast rights, venue hire or commercial partnerships.
