The ASEAN Para Sports Federation Board of Governors met in Kuala Lumpur from 7 to 11 September 2026 to tighten delivery of the 14th ASEAN Para Games.
Kuala Lumpur hosted the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF) as the APSF Board of Governors met to tighten preparations for the 14th ASEAN Para Games, Malaysia 2027.
The meeting, from 7 to 11 September 2026, brought together representatives of APSF member countries. It was an important platform to discuss the main issues of Games management, coordination and preparation for a meet that will bring together the region’s best para athletes.
The session was also a place to align the work of every party so that the organisation and operations of the Games can be carried out in an orderly way as Malaysia prepares to host.
For Malaysia as host, those talks are among the important steps to ensure the 2027 ASEAN Para Games are not only smooth, but inclusive, athlete-friendly and meet regional hosting standards.
With preparations still being driven, Malaysia is now entering a more serious phase to make the 14th ASEAN Para Games the best stage for ASEAN para athletes to perform, lift national pride and celebrate sport without limits.
